In October 2003, Dr. Crenshaw established her private ophthalmology practice in Sterling, Virginia with a focus on personal patient care. Dr. Crenshaw takes as much time as is needed with her patients to ensure they understand their medical history, diagnoses and treatment instructions. As a result, Dr. Crenshaw has been named a Patient’s Choice Top Doctor, as well as a Top Doctor by Northern Virginia Magazine.
After a thorough and extensive search, Dr. Shaleen Belani was added to the practice in early 2014. With her excellent bedside manner and flawless surgical techniques, Dr. Belani quickly established herself as one of the premier cataract surgeons in the area. An expert in cataract removal and lens implantation, Dr. Belani has become a popular referral for those patients seeking more advanced and complicated procedures, such as laser-assisted and premium toric or multifocal lens surgery.
Dr. Khalil was previously employed as an ophthalmic technician in our practice, and he now returns as a clinically trained medical optometrist. He recently earned his degree at the prestigious Salus University in Philadelphia. His clinical training focused on diseases of the eye including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye disease. Dr. Khalil will also provide contact lens services in our practice.
