Lens Options
Types of Lenses
During cataract surgery, your clouded natural lens is replaced with a clear artificial intraocular lens (IOL). Several types are available, each designed to match different vision goals and lifestyles.
Monofocal Lenses
The standard choice for cataract surgery. Monofocal lenses provide excellent clarity at one distance — usually far vision. Most patients still use reading glasses for up-close tasks.
Learn moreMonofocal Plus Lenses
An enhanced monofocal option that extends the range of clear vision slightly beyond a standard monofocal, offering better intermediate clarity while maintaining the same reliable distance focus.
Learn moreToric Lenses
Designed specifically for patients with astigmatism. Toric lenses correct the irregular shape of the cornea, providing sharper, distortion-free vision at your chosen focal distance.
Learn moreExtended Depth of Focus Lenses
EDOF lenses stretch the range of clear vision from distance through intermediate — ideal for computer work and everyday activities — with minimal visual side effects like halos or glare.
Learn moreMultifocal Lenses
Premium lenses designed to provide clear vision at multiple distances — near, intermediate, and far. Multifocal lenses can significantly reduce or even eliminate the need for glasses after surgery, making them a popular choice for patients seeking the greatest freedom from corrective eyewear.
